Tortoise food (grass hay, pasture mix, cactus, etc.):

  • The Oxbow Hay Company:
Is a great source for Grass Hay, if your local feed store does not carry it. Oxbow sells timothy and orchard grass hay in a variety of quantities, and they will ship via UPS to anywhere in the USA and Canada.
  • Peaceful Valley Farm Supply - Organic Garden and Farm Supplies:
This is a good source for pasture mixes for grazing tortoises.
  • Rio Grande Cacti:
This is a small business located in New Mexico, so we like to help them out. Order a few pads of Ficus indica (spineless opuntia cactus) from them and plant them somewhere that your tortoises can't reach them. After the pads take root, you'll have all the cactus your tortoises will need.
